Detailed Itinerary: A Week Between Salento and the Ionian Islands

Saturday – Boarding in Leuca

The adventure begins on Saturday afternoon with boarding in Santa Maria di Leuca, the southernmost point of Salento. After cabin assignments and a skipper briefing, we relax on board, enjoying the evening in the harbor or at anchor as we prepare for our early morning departure.

Sunday – From Leuca to Othonoi (approx. 50 nautical miles)

At dawn, we set sail for Othonoi, the westernmost of the Ionian Islands. After an open sea crossing, we reach this beautiful, still undiscovered island, known for its crystal-clear waters and stunning bays like Aspri Ammos Beach and Calypso Bay. It’s the perfect spot for our first swim in Greek waters!

Monday – Othonoi → Kassiopi, Corfu (approx. 15 nautical miles)

After a relaxing morning of swimming and snorkeling, we head towards Kassiopi, a picturesque village on Corfu’s northeastern coast. Here, a perfect mix of beautiful beaches, traditional tavernas, and a lively atmosphere awaits us. The evening is free to explore the town and savor Greek cuisine.

Tuesday – Kassiopi → Corfu Town (approx. 15 nautical miles)

Our journey continues to Corfu Town, the island’s capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll wander through the old town’s charming streets, visit the Palace of St. Michael and St. George, and admire the majestic Venetian fortress. A perfect day filled with culture, history, and breathtaking views.

Wednesday – Corfu Town → Erikoussa (approx. 20 nautical miles)

We leave vibrant Corfu behind and sail towards Erikoussa, a small gem among the Diapontian Islands. Here, we find absolute tranquility, turquoise waters, and a golden sandy beach—ideal for a relaxing day immersed in unspoiled nature.

Thursday – Erikoussa → Leuca (approx. 50 nautical miles)

We begin our return voyage to Italy. After a full day at sea, we arrive in Santa Maria di Leuca in the evening, just in time for a final aperitif on board under the stars.

Friday – Back in Leuca

Enjoy a final breakfast on board and perhaps one last swim in the Salento waters. The evening is free to stroll along Leuca’s charming seafront.

Saturday – Disembarkation and Farewell

After a week of sailing, it’s time to say goodbye. Disembarkation takes place in the morning, leaving you with unforgettable memories of this incredible sailing adventure.
